Why you should use Free Screensavers by John Hilgenberg

Nearly everyone with a connection to the World Wide Web utilizes the free screensavers and wallpapers that seem to flood the net today. Pop-ups and flashing banners on your favorite websites and SPAM in your e-mail all claim to have the latest and greatest free screensavers available. But with all of the hearsay and worry about spyware and adware possibly attached to the free downloads invading your computer, just whom are you supposed to trust?
The truth is simple- free screensavers and other downloads are only as good as the websites that provide them. If you choose a quality, trustworthy site that clearly states that their products are spyware and adware free, you can feel more secure about utilizing such Internet freebies. If you're unsure about the ulterior motives of such a website, do a bit of research and see what those who downloaded their screensavers and such had to say. The best free screensaver sites will be proud to display all of their comments, both positive and negative.
Now that the safety and security issue have been covered, we're going to touch upon some of the "bonus features" for downloading free screensavers and wallpaper!
First, variety is the spice of life, especially when it's free! Think about how many times you've changed your mind on tiny details that don't matter very much, never mind the things you look at every day. Nothing spices up a boring computer screen more than a flashy new screensaver, complete with your favorite movie, celebrity, or inspirational quote to liven up your day. And since they're free in cost, spyware and adware, you can change your mind (and your screensaver) as often as you like.
Are you a big fan of the seasons and holidays? Do you begin to wear your Christmas socks the second that Wal-Mart puts up their holiday décor? Do you put up Halloween decorations as soon as you take down your 4th of July ones? The holiday screensaver trends are here, perfectly designed for you to follow and change as you'd like to, even daily if you have the time and desire. Put up your favorite star one day, followed by a New England winter scene the next. Many screensavers are available in both home and workplace editions, and different formats and sizes to adapt to your computer.
Of course, modern technology brings us new and exciting things every day. Flash animation makes for some interesting conversation between co-workers. And you're not limited to screensavers for your laptop and/or desktop PC, as Personal PlayStation (PSP) has it's own variety of screensavers made especially for this compact device.

Are screensavers still necessary in 2007? by James Lunden

Screensavers were initially invented as a way to prevent 'burn in' on computer screens. Burn-in is what happens when a single image is displayed on screen for an extended period of time, resulting in a 'burn' of that image permanently damaging your screen.
Today, with the prevalence of CRT and LCD screens, which are highly resistant, burn-in is not much of an issue.
However, screensavers also serve another purpose: entertainment.
There are many animated and complex screensavers which people put on their computers and watch them as their computers idle. These more complex screensavers do however use up a good deal of CPU, and are not strictly a good option.
A couple alternatives, are either a blank screen, or, better yet, a wallpaper screensaver. These screensavers display a rotation of wallpaper images on your screen, which are both entertaining and use little CPU power.
There are many wallpaper screensavers which cater to all different tastes, including celebrities, cars, babes, nature, cartoons and many more.
So rather than having a blank screen, or a boring screensaver, try a wallpaper screensaver.

Way 9: Newsletter/Ezine Advertising You just have to find ezines catering to Your target market and present them your offer in a proper way. Way 10: Industry Specific Directories You can find some industry specific directories where you can submit for free, but they won't bring you so much targeted traffic like those paid ones. Originally offering the domain name extension, .ws, these entrepreneurs have been quickly building a domain empire. By incorporating their own free high-tech sales video into each domain account in Global Domains International, the videos have been used and personalized instantly by each Global Domains International independent sales representative to generate new accounts 24/7. Since these new accounts are set up instantly, this has allowed the company to acquire new business and grow incredibly fast. In fact, GDI has recently been named number 37 on Inc magazine's list of the top 500 fastest growing companies (the "Inc 500 List"), making Global Domains International poised to become the largest company the industry has ever seen."Location, location, location" is as important to the real estate industry as a domain name is to the Internet. One of the best things about GDI domain names is that they are abundant. Domain names are the human-friendly forms of Internet addresses, and are commonly used to identify and find web sites. The primary purpose of domain names is to create addresses that are easier to remember and use than numbers. Domain names are ordinary words, letters, or numbers that signify the location of a web site on the Internet, such as "drugstore". More important than anything when talking about domain names, is availability, and this is where GDI excels. Domain names are registered on a first-come, first-served basis. GDI, being the newer kid on the block, offers many more unique domain names that may no longer be available from extensions like .com or .net.Domain names are very important for any online business. Domain names can contribute a lot towards the success or failure of a web site. More than a web address, relevant domain names are an important element of a successful Internet marketing strategy. Relevant domain names are high quality names that contain generic key words or key word phrases that are descriptive of an industry, a business or specific products or services. Relevant domain names are not only memorable, they influence a site's ranking in search engines. URL is the abbreviation for, "Uniform Resource Locator", a term that identifies a web site address on the Internet. A site URL containing the phrase, "convertiblecars" has a higher possible correlation, and thus, a higher possible ranking to the key word search for "cars" than a URL without that key word match. With the 2007 most recent count of web sites reported to be a whopping 12.8 million and growing, the demand for the kind of relevant domain names available from GDI, is exploding as well. If you would like to learn more about GDI, you may read an in-depth article or watch a short informational video (free test drive) at: Global Domains International. You may copy and distribute this copy written article as long as all anchor text with hyperlinks, acknowledgements and web site links remain intact according to article policy.

Grow Your Business and Get More Visitors by Optimizing Your Site for Search Engines

By: Nikita Melkin
It is no secret that major search engines such as Google and Yahoo are the largest and often the only source to bring visitors to most Web sites. Importantly, you don't pay search engines for every visitor they send to your site. It's hard to underestimate the potential of this free traffic. How do you get more visitors? The short answer is: you have to get your site a better visibility on search engines. At this very moment, your competitors are improving their sites. They are fighting to be in the top search results in order to get more visitors.Statistically, your potential visitors only look through the first twenty or so results in the listings presented by search engines as the results of search requests. If you have more than twenty competitors, chances are that potential visitors would never find out about your site or product, but will instead be pointed towards your competition. So how do you get more visitors? Again, the short answer is: you have to optimize your site for better rankings in major search engines. There are several ways to optimize your site. You could contract a company specializing in Search Engine Optimization, or hire a SEO specialist. This can be effective but very expensive. Besides, an over-optimization of your site or the use of certain (mostly borderline) optimization methods can trigger the search engines to completely delete your site from their index. Because of this, contracting a third party to do a SEO job for you might be risky, and is not always a good idea. It's much better if you optimize your site yourself. As the owner of the site, you won't do anything risky that could lead to a ban by major search engines. As a good starting point, there is a SEO tutorial for beginners at http://seo-utorial.seoadministrator.com/After you read the tutorial, you may wonder what keyword density your pages have, what keywords your visitors use to find your site, and what rankings you have for those keywords on different search engines. Counting the keywords on a page, analyzing log files and running search queries on major search engines can be a long, time-consuming process. Furthermore, analyzing the results often requires certain statistical and mathematical knowledge. What if you don't have that much time or mathematical skills? After all, do your competitors have a Ph.D. in Mathematics? No, they don't need to. Your competitors are using tools that are specifically designed for gathering data on keywords and visitors, and tools for analyzing such data. They are getting nicely formatted reports that summarize their keywords, rankings, and visitor's behavior. Some of the best tools can even make suggestions on what they can do to rank higher for specific keywords, or even suggest new keywords that complement those already in use.SEO Administrator tools available at http://www.seoadministrator.com/ do all that, and much more. This package has everything to automatically analyze and track your site's rankings in various search engines, check sites that have links to your pages, and verify that your Web site is indexed properly by the search engines. It even does things as complex as finding the sites that link to your competitors, and offers their owners to link to you instead! This suite of SEO Administrator tools won't break the bank either, offering a terrific value at only $70 for the basic edition and all the way up to just $150 for the full-featured Enterprise version.
